• BACK TO QUESTIONS...
    DEAR AMY,
I just wanted to thank you so much for changing my life! Prior to our makeover sessions this past week, I was confined to going to tranny bars in the dark of night. You, however, gave me the confidence to go out in public like a real woman. I went to Good Times and Share with the rest of the Wildside girls and had a nice time, but it wasn't really my scene. After our instructional session on Saturday, I decided to just go for it. I went to Palace Station where I got my first ever "Ma'am" from the girl at the Starbucks, and you have no idea what a thrill it was for me. Then I went for dinner at their Grand Cafe where the waitresses treated me like a real woman. They were so sweet to me. I went back to my hotel room to catch my breath, and then I went to the Planet Hollywood to get a ticket to Mark Savard's hypnosis show (realize that I'm doing all of this en-femme!). En route I walked through the Miracle Mile of shops and I decided on a whim to stop at Chico's to check out their outfits, expecting to window-shop and then move on to the casino. I wasn't there more than two minutes before the sales lady swooped in on me and led me around the store showing me their wares. It was so surreal, I expected to be ignored or thrown out of the store. The sales-lady, however, couldn't have been more friendly and enthusiastic. She insisted on selling me a cute black cocktail dress (which I absolutely loved) and a complimentary sheer white sweater. That was the highlight of my night; I swear I will never ever shop on-line for my femme clothing again! I will do it in person from now on. I went on to buy my ticket for the show from the consierge at Planet Hollywood, again en-femme, and he was just as friendly. No problems! While I was at Mark Savard's hypnosis show I bought a couple of glasses of Chardonnay and I got my second "Ma'am" from the cocktail waitress. Another thrill! I guess I sound like a total rookie (which I am) but it meant so much to me. I spent the rest of the evening around regular people at the Heart Bar and there were absolutely no issues at all. It got to the point that I forgot that I was dressed and I just lived out my dream by living as an actual woman. Thank you again because I never would have been able to do this without your help. I will return to Vegas for the Labor Day weekend and, if you are around, I would love to stop by to thank you in person. Love, Jenny
